Frankly Speaking

INDEPENDANCE DAY- 15th Aug - reminds us what we achieved 64 years earlier - freedom from the brute rulers, but freedom from poverty, illiteracy and humiliation is still awaited.

We have got our identity as citizens with our own values. Now it is up to us to decide our aims ....our goals.....

Life is an incredible gift and as an Individual you have so much to offer the world and yourself. Don’t be Caged by your fears- either real or perceived, don’t be limited by other people’s expectations of you & most importantly- don’t merely endure this amazing gift of LIFE...

On this auspicious day, all the Rotarians were very happy, to attend the flag hoisting ceremony after many years , which reminded us of our school days.

It was happy moment because I began with my Dream project “JAL” : to provide Clean & Safe water to 10000 Adiwasi children.......We Installed our 1st Water Purification System at Saraswati Vidyalaya. There are 3500 children in the school from V to XII std. and all from nearby villages and padas. The School Authorities and the children were very happy for that. Thanks to Rajashri & Vinay for donating 2 systems. One at Vasind & the other at Khadavli Ashram School.

After that, we went to Khadavli Ashram school, where we are installing the 2nd Water Purification System. We distributed Biscuits & End-Polio caps to the Adiwasi school children. They were also very happy & looking at their happiness we all felt satisfied.

Two weeks back, it was our 2nd Club Assembly for Pre-OCV meeting . A.G. Ahses Ganguly was there, in his official capacity, with us for the third time in quick succession. He was fully satisfied with Club’s progress and concluded the meeting with District views for 11-12. Now, to our date with DG Vijay Jalan
